Pastor Shanthra Sparks is God's blessing to us here at NBCV. Pastor Shanthra wears many hats, and she wears them well. God have given her the heart and passion for women. In Christ of out of Christ, Pastor Shanthra has been anointed to reach women of all walks of life. To empower them and restore their strength in God. The love that she shares with women has been a blessing to our church ministry and this north valley of Los Angeles, California at large. Not only does her passion reaches out towards women, but children as well. It's such a great blessing of God to see how Pastor Shanthra interacts with the children. God has definitely given Pastor Shanthra the heart to love children, to train them and empower them with the Word of God. These are the men and women that the Lord is seeking in these times. It's not about titles, positions, or status however, it is about people, who are in and out of Christ who need strong examples of Christians who are striving to live the life that God wants us to live.

God has placed a ministry inside of Pastor Shanthra called GEL. It is an acronym for God's Excellent Ladies. This ministry is designed to put the power back in the hearts and minds of women that have been broken, bruised and/or wounded.
